The Song Game
The Song Game
Free Creative Songwriting Lab
Launching Soon!
The Song Game Is a playful experiment —a weekly space with a soft deadline to learn to generate ideas, try new approaches, and share in the process. Now, it’s open to anyone who wants to show up for their songwriting, without pressure or expectation.
This FREE Game
will offer short, hands-on videos that guide you through prompts, exercises, and creative challenges.
These weekly prompts and discussions will give you a taste of the tools and inspiration that drive the courses Inside The Song Game. While you won’t have access to our in depth prompts, our private community, or peer feedback circles, you’ll still get the chance to:
Explore weekly songwriting prompts
Learn to experiment with all the elements of songwriting we explore, such as melody, lyrics, rhythm, and chords
Try playful techniques to help you generate ideas and work through creative standstills
Practice showing up consistently for your process
Who It’s For
Songwriters of all levels who want a fun, low-pressure reason to build consistency, follow ideas, and deepen their creative practice.
How It Works
Short, accessible video prompts released weekly on YouTube
Ideas and exercises to try on your own time
The option to submit your songs to be added to our weekly public Song Game SoundCloud Playlist
No community or feedback required — just your own curiosity and commitment
The Song Game
